The Ohio Plan Healthcare Consortium Prescription Drug Program

The Ohio Plan Healthcare Consortium stand-alone drug product through Medical Mutual is administered through Medco, a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM). Medco has demonstrated its ability to provide a high-quality pharmacy network, integrated with an efficient mail-order pharmacy, Medco by Mail. A generic drug program is also available. These programs combine to create a comprehensive, managed prescription drug benefit program that controls costs and emphasizes quality of care.

Medical Mutual researched and developed a new drug program called SuperMed Script, which encompasses three components to help control escalating drug costs.
